Oca Ambassador

A friendly, outgoing attitude and a passion for great food is required. Experience in food service is a plus. Duties include engaging customers, taking orders, operating the cash register, plating dishes, and making sure guests leave happier than when they arrived. 

With an hourly pay of $12-$14 including tips, this part-time position has the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate. (Full-time positions include heath insurance and retirement benefits.)

Supervisor

At Oca, the Supervisor ensures guest satisfaction, quality of product, and staff's engagement. Duties include working with staff to

  • receive, display, rotate, and inventory retail products as well as menu ingredients
  • create and prioritize task lists, direct staff in projects, work within deadlines, and review completed work
  • uphold Oca's sanitation standards and execute daily cleaning schedules
  • engage customers with enticing product details, take orders and ring up sales, prepare and serve menu dishes 

The ideal candidate has a passion for great food and great service and can lead by example in sharing that passion with both guests and staff. As the shift leader, the Supervisor must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a team spirit all while prioritizing guests' experience. 

Wages are about $12-14+ per hour including tips. This full-time position includes health and retirement benefits  + perks.

Those with prior experience working in food service are encouraged to apply; however, on-the-job training is provided and a willingness to learn is essential.  These are front-of-the-house positions. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys hosting and interacting with guests.  Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong personal initiative to accomplish tasks independently. Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Cashier/Host: Full Time, though part time may be considered for the right candidate

  • engage customers and make sure they are taken care of through the entire order process

This full-time, front-line customer service position means working directly with guests, preparing menu dishes, slicing and packaging orders, plus more.

Applicants must be 21 or older. Those with prior experience working in food service are encouraged to apply; however, on-the-job training is provided and a willingness to learn is essential.
